Carol Burns is a trained Fine Artist who is inspired by the glorious colours and patterns of the 1960s and 1970s.
A trained journalist and magazine editor, Carol returned to university and gained a BA (hons) Fine Art and Master’s degrees in Fine Art before embarking on a new career as an artist-designer.
Carol Burns Studio began with a range of greetings cards inspired by the idea of cards worth keeping, and has quickly expanded to include textiles, home accessories – and her favourite, reusable, cotton gift bags.
Alongside vintage pattern, Carol’s own range of designs are finding their way on to teatowels, lampshades and prints.
